And I’ll be the first to admit that any previous “success” was really hit or miss. Mostly miss. But it’s still a medium I’m constantly drawn back to, especially when given the opportunity to customize endlessly in a mixed media format.
But tonight, we just experiment. And so far I’m reasonably happy. It takes significantly less product to create jewelry and small pieces than it did to make multiple batches of coasters, so that’s already a plus in the win column. Previous resin didn’t behave how I wanted it to when attempting a swirled pattern with alcohol ink, but I’ll have to let these guys sit for a while before I find out how this particular product behaves.
